Jody Glenham and I have known each other for over a decade, from many different corners in Vancouver. Her career in Vancouver has been incredibly inspiring, and someone who I have always looked at as a Purveyor of taste and style. Jody’s last studio album, Mood Rock, is one of my favourite selection of songs to be put out in the last decade.

Over the last couple of years, I have photographed a few projects for her. It’s always exciting to get a call from Jody, as she always has really strong visual inspirations which means I get to focus purely on location and creation.

Recently, I was brought as Photographer for her newest Release “The Local”, a song that pays homage to the local bars that keep us company. She wanted to focus on subtle pops of red to draw you in, like a neon sign.

Through consultation, I pitched Photo Booth style portraits, a living room set up, and a restaurant front at night (reminiscent of a New York street).

I am proud of what we made together.
